Peter Pan at Royal & Derngate: OnStage Northants

I HAVE NEWS TO SHARE!

I have recently become a reviewer for OnStage Northants, a dedicated online magazine for Northamptonshire based theatre, film and comedy – which means I get to review some really amazing theatre shows at places like the Royal & Derngate as well as other theatre and performing arts projects across the county.

This is really brilliant news for me as it combines two of my loves: theatre and Northamptonshire.

Back in the day when I first launched this blog, I started off doing theatre reviews on this blog.

But as you can tell, my blog has massively changed niches since then.

I attempted to get back into theatre blogging earlier on this year, but I felt theatre had no place on Nicole Navigates any longer.

That’s why it’s fantastic that I am able to channel my love of theatre and write reviews on some great local theatre on the OnStage Northants website.

Becca, who also writes a blog at StageyRebel, runs a great website that brings together local theatre, touring shows and much more – so I am thrilled to have become one of the reviewers.

I took my friend, Ruth, to see Peter Pan as ironically, we are both currently rehearsing for our own pantomime production of Peter Pan!

I’m playing Wendy and she is playing Tinkerbell, so it was the perfect excuse for a girlie night out and some panto research!

We even enjoyed an interval glass of wine and a drink afterwards in John Franklin’s (which FYI is one of my favourite bars in Northampton!)

I won’t go on too much, but just to summarise, if you’re in Northampton and you’re looking for a reason to feel even more festive and are looking for a pantomime production to see – go to the Royal & Derngate and go and see Peter Pan.

It is FABULOUS!
